In 2023, Arjun Varain Singh makes his directorial debut with the Hindi-language coming-of-age drama film Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, which translates to "Where Have We Lost Ourselves?"[2][3] Under the auspices of Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby Films, Ritesh Sidhwani, Akhtar, Kagti, and Farhan Akhtar produced the film, which was written by Singh, Zoya Akhtar, and Reema Kagti. Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday, and Adarsh Gourav play three friends who negotiate their relationships and aspirations in the face of social media pressure. In supporting parts are Rohan Gurbaxani, Anya Singh, and Kalki Koechlin.
